We are currently seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join our WA project team in Jandakot , supporting the delivery of an important infrastructure project within an environmentally sensitive area. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental skilled looking to apply their technical knowledge in a hands‑on construction environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and supported by the Senior SHEQ Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance and supporting the successful delivery of the project.
Working closely with site personnel, subcontractors and stakeholders, you will help implement environmental management plans, monitor environmental performance and provide practical advice to operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake groundwater monitoring, sampling and testing
- Coordinate acid sulphate soil testing and laboratory sampling
- Monitor environmental data and identify any exceedances or trends
- Conduct environmental inspections and audits
- Support compliance with environmental approvals, permits and management plans
- Monitor vegetation clearing activities and environmental controls
- Undertake flora and fauna monitoring activities
- Prepare environmental reports for project and regulatory requirements
- Maintain environmental records and monitoring databases
- Assist with environmental incident investigations and corrective actions
- Provide environmental advice and support to project teams and subcontractors
- Promote positive environmental outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives onsite.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in the field, building relationships with operational teams and making a genuine contribution to environmental performance.
You will ideally have:
- Degree qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Experience in groundwater monitoring and sampling
- Experience with acid sulphate soil monitoring and testing
- Strong report writing and data analysis skills
- Good understanding of environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, utilities or environmental consulting will be highly regarded but is not essential.
