Specialised Industrial Solutions (SIS) is a locally owned and operated industrial services company based in Mount Isa, servicing mining and industrial clients throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
SIS delivers a range of specialised services including vacuum loading, high pressure water jetting, drain and tank cleaning, industrial maintenance support, abrasive blasting and transport services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and experienced Mobile Plant Operators to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Minimum 1 year experience operating mobile plant, industrial equipment or similar machinery.
Current HR Driver Licence or higher.
Ability to work in remote and regional locations.
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to pass mine site medicals and drug and alcohol testing.
Desirable
Vacuum Loading qualifications.
High Pressure Water Jetting qualifications.
Working at Heights.
Confined Space Entry.
Forklift Licence.
Previous mine site experience.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Operate vacuum trucks and associated vacuum loading equipment.




Operate vehicle-mounted pumps, hoses, tanks and high-pressure water jetting equipment.
Position and manoeuvre vacuum trucks safely across mine and industrial sites.
Perform high-pressure water jetting and industrial cleaning activities.
Conduct drain, tank and process equipment cleaning using vacuum loading and water jetting equipment.
Complete equipment pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.
Monitor equipment operation, pressure levels and loading capacity during use.
Identify and report mechanical faults and perform minor operational maintenance where required.
Assist with shutdown and maintenance projects across mine and industrial sites.
Maintain operational records and safety documentation.
Follow all site procedures and safety requirements.
