Job Description

- Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers to achieve project goals.

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable technology platforms.





- Ensure the adoption of best practices in platform engineering and DevOps.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimise systems.

- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation effectively.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to platform performance and security.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in platform reliability and efficiency.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance organisational capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Platform Engineering Team Lead should have:

- Proven experience in leading development teams and leadership skills.

- Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms (ideally AWS), infrastructure as code, and automation tools.

- Amplified understanding in Domain-Driven-Design.

- Fluency in Typescript & Node.JS.

- Knowledge of MACH Architecture.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technology projects.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
