Job Overview
Youth Worker – Out of Home Care (Casual) – Toowoomba, Queensland.
Salary $* per hour (including casual loading) plus super and NFP salary packaging.

Key Responsibilities
Work in accordance with the CARE model, delivering therapeutic‐centred care.
Support provision of reliable, trauma‐informed, nurturing non‐family based arrangements.
Help young people feel safe, supported and develop a strong sense of identity and belonging.
Build positive, trusting relationships with families, friends and community.
Assist with daily tasks, including maintaining a safe home setting, completing verbal and written reports and other day‐to‐day duties.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV (Level 4) in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or minimum Cert IV in Human Services, Community Services, Youth Services or related field.
Experience incorporating CARE Principles or ability to reflect on how you would incorporate them into practice.
Solid understanding of the child protection system and a therapeutic background preferred.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children), First Aid & CPR, QLD Driver Licence.
Availability to work a 24‐hour roster and willingness to undertake a personal history check.
Training & Development
Successful candidates will receive paid training for TCI, CARE and Three Pillars of transforming care.
