The Location
Buderim Views is a Residential Aged Care Home located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.
The Role
Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing
Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
Folding and unfolding mobility aids
Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needs
Aiding residents with easy mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
Share feedback with the Lifestyle Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift
Deliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents
Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times
To be successful:
Previous Bus driving experience within Aged Care or similar




Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
Experience with wheelchair access vehicles and wheelchair tie down system, (desirable)
Computer skills essential for documentation, online learning and training requirements.
Skilled, transparent communication.
Mandatory for compliance
LR licence required
Full Australian Working rights

Provide a copy of your traffic history report
