We are now looking for an experienced Construction Manager who holds a current WA Builders Registration to lead our construction operations, act as nominated registered building practitioner, and grow with us. Opportunities like this don’t come around often.

This isn’t just another construction job, it’s your chance to put your stamp on a company on the way up. Reporting to company leadership, you’ll take ownership of construction delivery from commencement of manufacturing through to key handover, driving production, quality, compliance and safety across all projects while leading and mentoring our supervisors, trades and subcontractors. This role is strategically key to PIQUE as it directly impacts our ability to deliver projects on time, within budget,
and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence across our modular construction processes.
Key responsibilities
Act as the nominated Building Practitioner for PIQUE, ensuring all works comply with the NCC, Australian Standards and WA building legislation
Plan, programme and manage multiple yards and projects
Lead site and yard supervisors, building a strong delivery team
Drive quality assurance, inspections and defect management to practical completion
Champion WHS compliance and a strong safety culture across sites and the yard
Liaise with clients, certifiers, engineers and local authorities
Resolve technical queries and problem solve where required
Report on programme, cost and risk to company leadership
Lead and mentor, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous improvement
About you
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or senior Site Manager in residential, commercial or modular construction
Experience with lightweight construction (steel framing, timber framing, panelised systems and lightweight cladding) ideal
Volume building experience
2 storey experience
Experience in modular, prefabricated or transportable construction highly regarded but not essential
Comprehensive knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and WA building compliance requirements
Demonstrated ability to run multiple projects on time and on budget
Excellent leadership,
communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong WHS knowledge and commitment to safe systems of work
Sound understanding of building materials, construction methodologies, and quality assurance practices
A Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage challenges and implement effective solutions
A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in construction practices
Current WA driver’s licence and White Card
