Coordinator, Campaign Performance and Media Buying
Clerk Grade: 5/6
Annual Salary Range: $99,938 - $110,271 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time
Location: Haymarket, Sydney / Hybrid

In this role you will use your strong administration skills, attention to detail and confidence with spreadsheets to support the day‑day management of a top‑tier media agency. It's a rapid‑paced environment with competing priorities, so you'll need to be organised, responsive and comfortable working across a mix of tasks.
About the team
The NSW Government Brand, Advertising and Engagement team at the Department of Customer Service leads, delivers and reviews all‑of‑government brand, engagement and advertising strategies, policies, programs and services to meet government objectives and priorities.
The Campaign Performance & Media Buying team supports this work by:
- Managing procurement, contracts and performance of the whole‑of‑government media agency
- Maintaining accurate oversight of campaign activity and advertising expenditure
- Delivering regular and ad‑hoc reporting, analysis and recommendations on campaign performance and government advertising commitments
- Providing advice and information to senior leaders, including DCS Executives and the Minister
- Leading initiatives to improve media efficiency, transparency and governance
- Coordinate and review regular and ad‑hoc advertising reporting, ensuring data quality, consistency and timeliness
- Support media agency coordination, reporting processes and governance activities
- Prepare analysis, updates and documentation for senior internal stakeholders
- Work with team members, agencies and stakeholders to resolve campaign and data‑related queries
- Contribute to the procurement and ongoing contract management for whole of government media agency services including engaging with suppliers and government agencies
- Provide administrative and project support to the team
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- High attention to detail and ability to manage and maintain accurate data
- Strong Excel skills and experience in data, reporting, administration or coordination roles
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and documentation
- Strong organisational skills and ability manage competing priorities in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Interest in government advertising and media, and a willingness to build your knowledge in this area. Previous experience in advertising or media related roles is beneficial.
