About the role
As the Operations Manager at Whitsunday Escape, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of this dynamic organisation. Based in the beautiful Whitsundays in the coastal town of Airlie Beach, QLD, this full time position will see you responsible for managing a team and ensuring the smooth running of all operational activities.
What you'll be doing
Oversee the daily operations, including managing the fleet, staff, inventory, and logistics
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Liaise with various stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, and internal teams
Identify and address operational issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
What we're looking for
Substantial experience (5+ years) in a similar operations management role,



preferably within the marine tourism industry
Solid leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Thorough understanding of operations management principles and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
