The Mitolo family has been a part of Australia’s rich cultural tapestry since migrating in the 1950s. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team across the Mitolo Wines and Mitolo Family Office Group based in Stepney on a permanent basis, either Full time or Part-Time (0.8FTE). Flexible school hours is also available for this role.
Qualifications & experience
- Accounts Payable experience 2 years +
- Accurate and fast data entry ability with strong attention to detail
- Robust organisation and prioritising skills
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
- Ability to use initiative within the workplace
- Willingness to work within a team and independently when required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
- Entering supplier invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of supplier statement and general ledger reconciliations of trade payable accounts
- Management of weekly supplier payments
- Attending to Accounts Payable queries promptly and in a professional manner.
- Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required
