The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest veterinary hospital in the Southern Hemisphere, offering 24/7 specialist and emergency services across Australia. We're currently seeking a full-time, Client Service Officer to become the welcoming face and first point of contact for clients and their beloved pets. If you're passionate about customer service, love animals and thrive in a energetic, fast-paced environment – we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

This is not your average reception job – every day at SASH presents new challenges. You'll be part of a fast-paced, 24-hour emergency and specialist hospital, working 10-hour shifts on a rotating roster. Expect variety, purpose, and the chance to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and manage front-of-house areas, including waiting rooms
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails using multiple systems
- Coordinate and book appointments across various departments
- Act as a liaison between clients and clinical staff
- Process payments (cash, EFTPOS,



and insurance claims)
- Request results, samples, and documentation from third parties

About You:

You're a team player with a proactive mindset, ready to take on a role that is both challenging and deeply rewarding. You thrive in a busy environment and are passionate about providing a high level of service to both clients and their pets.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 2 years' experience in a high-volume reception or administrative role
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong initiative and time management skills
- A resilient and empathetic approach to client care
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A passion for animals and delivering outstanding customer service
