We are a busy, well-established heavy duty mechanical workshop specialising in underground mining equipment repair & overhaul, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated
Project Planner/Estimator
to join our team.
This is a key role responsible for coordinating workshop projects from start to finish, ensuring jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
About the Role
Cost estimate, plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical projects and workshop jobs
Liaise with supervisors, trades, and clients to ensure smooth workflow
Track progress, manage timelines, and adjust plans as required
Prepare job scopes, estimates, and resource allocation
Monitor costs and assist in maintaining project budgets
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
About You




Previous experience in a planning/scheduling role within a mechanical or mining setting
Strong understanding of heavy-duty mobile equipment and workshop operations
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in planning software and Microsoft Office
