Elevation Scaffolding Pty Ltd is seeking Scaffolders and Scaffold Labourers to join our team on a casual basis . This is a hands-on position based in Adelaide, SA 5000 , where you will provide essential support to our scaffolding operations. As a Scaffolders Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our scaffolding projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse building projects across the region.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting qualified scaffolders with the erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures
2. Transporting and positioning scaffolding materials, components and tools to work sites
3. Preparing work areas by clearing debris and ensuring the site is safe and organised
4. Securing and tightening scaffolding connections under the direction of senior scaffolders
5. Maintaining scaffolding equipment and reporting any damage or defects to supervisors
6. Following all safety protocols, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to work health and safety regulations
7. Assisting with site inspections and ensuring compliance with scaffolding standards
8. Supporting the team by performing general labouring duties as required
What we're looking for
1. Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions
2. Demonstrated experience as a labourer in the building or construction trades industry,
or a willingness to learn and develop skills in scaffolding
3. A valid driver's licence is advantageous for site access and mobility
4. Strong safety awareness and a commitment to following work health and safety procedures
5. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
6. Good communication skills and attention to detail
7. Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work on a casual basis as required
8. Scaffolding or construction industry qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential
