The Boat Works is seeking a skilled, motivated and safety-focused
Forklift Operator
to join our dynamic team in the heart of the Gold Coast Marine Precinct.
About the Role
Working across our busy Boatyard & Superyacht Yard, you will support daily site operations, including support of vessel movements, materials handling and general yard activities.
The position also involves assisting with day-to-day waste management and operating a range of site equipment to help maintain a clean, productive and safe working workplace.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced marine workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts across the facility
Assist with vessel movements and materials handling
Support general boatyard and site operations




Assist with waste management and site cleanliness
Maintain a safe, organised and productive work environment
Work collaboratively with the wider operations team
What We're Looking For
Current forklift licence —
essential
Experience operating forklifts in a busy industrial environment
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
