About the Role
The Community Engagement Officer plays a vital role in building relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, stakeholders and partner organisations. You will support community engagement activities, membership growth initiatives, events and community participation across RAATSIC's programs and service locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and coordinate community events, engagement activities and outreach initiatives.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with Elders, Traditional Owners, community members and stakeholders.
• Represent RAATSIC at community meetings, events and stakeholder forums.




• Support membership drives and activities that strengthen community participation.
• Assist with planning and delivery of engagement projects and organisational initiatives.
• Contribute to workforce recruitment and community awareness activities.
About You
• Experience in community engagement, community development or stakeholder relations.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders.
• Well-developed organisational and coordination skills.
• Confidence representing an organisation at community meetings and events.
• Commitment to culturally protected practice and positive community outcomes.
