We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

This is a hands-on role for a strong software engineer who has successfully delivered AI solutions into production and understands the practical challenges of scaling, governing, and operating AI systems in a regulated enterprise workplace. You will work across the full lifecycle of AI solution development, from architecture and experimentation through to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is an independent builder with deep expertise in Python, AI engineering, and enterprise integration, capable of turning emerging AI capabilities into secure, reliable, and business-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and related AI platforms.
- Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions leveraging enterprise knowledge sources and vector databases.
- Build Agentic AI solutions including multi-agent workflows, orchestration frameworks,



tool integrations, planning, memory, and autonomous execution capabilities.
- Design prompt engineering strategies, prompt chains, evaluation frameworks, and AI guardrails.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and performance measurement capabilities for AI applications.

Software Engineering

- Apply strong software engineering principles including architecture, security, testing, maintainability, and scalability.
- Build APIs, services, and reusable components supporting AI and data-driven applications.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment patterns for cloud-native environments.
- Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, data sources, and business workflows.
- Implement authentication, authorization, auditing, and security controls.
- Collaborate with business, risk, security, and architecture teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Support AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance

- Design solutions that operate effectively within highly regulated environments.
- Ensure traceability, auditability, explainability, and appropriate controls are embedded in AI systems.
- Contribute to risk assessments, model governance activities, and compliance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

5+ years' experience in software engineering with strong fundamentals in:

- Testing and quality engineering
- Proven experience building and operating production AI/LLM applications, beyond proof-of-concept or experimentation.

Strong hands-on experience with:

- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic AI architectures and orchestration frameworks




- Prompt engineering and AI evaluation frameworks
- REST APIs and enterprise integrations
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions.

Regulatory & Enterprise Experience

- Experience delivering solutions within regulated industries such as financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, or government.
- Strong understanding of security, privacy, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to balance innovation with enterprise risk and control obligations.

Ways of Working

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable acting as a sole technical contributor or leading AI technical delivery.
- Active user of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent.
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, AI evaluation, and observability tooling.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks and AI governance practices.
