Service Advisor A1 Mechanical Servicing & Repairs – Cairns, QLD At A1 Mechanical, we're building one of Cairns' leading independent mechanical workshops, and we're looking for the right person to join our team.

About the Role

As our Service Advisor , you'll be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in ensuring every job runs efficiently from booking through to vehicle collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting customers and managing front counter enquiries
- Answering incoming phone calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Booking vehicles into the workshop
- Preparing quotations and invoices
- Coordinating daily workshop bookings
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
- Processing payments and finalising completed jobs
- Maintaining accurate workshop records
- Providing exceptional customer service at every interaction

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and genuinely cares about providing a great customer experience.

Ideally you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, automotive administrator or similar customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities




- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills
- High attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential)

- Automotive industry experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Parts interpreting experience
- Experience using workshop management software

Salary

$70,000 - $80,0000 Super included

Salary will be negotiated based on your experience, skills and the value you bring to our team.
