About the role
Steelstruct Engineering is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our busy team located in Henderson for an immediate start. This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and plenty of overtime available for the right candidate.
This is a great prospect for the right person to gain valuable experience and learn new skills in the steel / manufacturing industry.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following
- Loading steel with overhead cranes
- Dispatching of goods
- Painting
- Packing
- Working safely and ensuring the safety of those around you
- Must have the ability to read drawings and check off materials.
- Must have FLT licence
- Must have current driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to safety
- Be physically fit
- Punctual and reliable
- Machining or heavy tooling experience
- Crane experience
- Steel knowledge / experience
