Employee Development Coordinator
Location: Elizabeth, SA | Classification: Full-time

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Employment Development Coordinator to join our growing Employment Services team based in Elizabeth! Reporting to the Team Leader Employment Development Coordinator, you’ll be a frontline team member delivering a high standard of person-centred support. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, outcomes-focused, and passionate about making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
This full time position which operates Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4:00pm & Friday 7.30am to 2.00pm, and is based in Elizabeth, Adelaide. We offer an above-award remuneration package including superannuation, based on your experience and qualifications, plus valuable salary packaging benefits to help maximise your take-home pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a person-centred approach to all supports
- Empower supported employees to be actively involved in decisions that affect them
- Support individuals to achieve their NDIS employment goals
- Build meaningful relationships through active listening, understanding each individual’s goals, aspirations, and support needs
- Use a case management approach to support progress and outcomes
- Manage day-to-day challenges, including incident management, behaviours of concern, and advocacy
- Respond effectively to workplace and external issues as they arise
About You – The Ideal Candidate:
- A strong commitment to supporting people with disability, with knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence
- Experience in the disability sector, supported by relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support)
- The ability to work autonomously, using sound judgement, initiative, and a proactive “can-do” approach
- Solid digital skills, including experience with client management systems and Microsoft Office
- A current Driver’s Licence and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
