The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Completing scheduled maintenance tasks
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Liaising with production to minimise downtime
About You
- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, food, plastics, or heavy industry
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyor systems
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Australian working rights
Desirable
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working in automated manufacturing
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (advantageous)
