We are currently seeking applications for suitably qualified and experiencedBoilermaker/ Welderswith extensive Workshop fabrication experience to join our outstanding local team.
The Role
You will possess a commitment to work as a team player, be adaptable to a changing environment, have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and be prepared to work overtime and in remote locations when required to carry out the following duties;
Reading and interpreting drawings or taking verbal instructions to mark out, cut, weld and assemble steel;
Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and codes;
Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct welding techniques;
Carry out basic maintenance of welding machine and equipment to keep a clean and safe work area; and
Follow all workshop and site safety requirements.




The successful candidates must have previous workshop experience and be able to demonstrate the following essential personal attributes and skills:
Sound knowledge all aspects of fabrication, including structural, plate work & piping with carbon steel & exotic materials or;
FCAW/GTAW/MMAW welding experience
Trade Qualified
5+ years' trade experience
Physically fit & enthusiastic
Ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner
Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate action
Desirable Tickets (not essential)
Elevated Work Platform
Recognised training certification in rigging, dogging & forklift
Light Ridged Drivers licence
Confined Space Entry and Working Safely at Heights
