We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join our energetic team at Avalon Dental Care in Kalamunda, Western Australia. This is a part-time opportunity for a passionate professional to provide exceptional oral healthcare services to our valued patients.
What you'll be doing
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and treatments
- Provide preventative dental care, including professional cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Administer local anaesthesia and apply sealants and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and disease prevention techniques
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure a high standard of infection control and sterilisation procedures
What we’re looking for
- Registered Oral Health Therapist with a current AHPRA licence
- 1-2 years of experience as an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
- Proficient in the use of dental software and technology
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Available days are: Thursday and Friday. We currently have a team of 3 OHT's/ Hygienists and are looking to fill in our days
