About our hospital

We are alargemodernhospital seeingsmall animalsranging from dogs and cats to bunnies, birds, exotics and pocket pets.Our experienced and friendly team start the day with rounds and move through the day with pace and compassion. We are fully equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, fullinhouse Idexxlaboratory,3 consult rooms, surgery suite, dental suite, separate dog and cat wards with large treatment hospital area. We have great hospital tech including EzyVet, Smartflow, WebPacs, Vetcheck and Vetstoria, with fob on workstations.

What the role involves

Consult Vet Nursing

Leading on client experienceand communication





Team consulting – supportingvets in consult

Nurse consulting–nail trims, anal glands, arthritis/allergy injections etc

Preparing and administering medications

Running blood sampling and cytology slides

Liaising with hospital team with patients being admitted from consult

General stocking, cleaning and admin

This is a permanent part time position working Monday 8-5pm, Tuesday8-6pm, Friday 8-5pmwith potential for additional hours.

Good sense of urgency and initiative to keep the scheduler on time

Loves organising and coordinating people and patients

Confident working independently and in a busy team environment
