The Opportunities

Mining Employment Services is seeking experienced Process Operators for a range of gold and lithium operations across Western Australia.

We are working with established mine operators, processing plants and growing project teams requiring reliable operators for immediate and upcoming vacancies.

Opportunities may include:

- Gold processing plants
- Lithium concentrators
- Crushing and screening circuits
- Grinding and classification
- Flotation
- CIL and CIP circuits
- Leaching and adsorption
- Thickening and filtration
- Reagents and chemical handling
- Paste plants and tailings facilities
- ROM and stockpile operations
- Control room operations

A variety of FIFO rosters, project locations and employment options are available.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on the operation and your experience, responsibilities may include:

- Operating and monitoring fixed-plant processing equipment
- Conducting regular plant inspections and field rounds
- Identifying and reporting plant faults or performance issues
- Monitoring operating parameters and process conditions
- Starting, stopping and isolating equipment
- Taking process samples and completing basic testing
- Completing production and shift reports
- Assisting with shutdowns and minor maintenance activities
- Maintaining clean and protected work areas




- Working closely with maintenance, metallurgy and control room teams

What You’ll Need

To be considered, candidates will generally require:

- Previous process plant or fixed-plant operating experience
- Gold or lithium processing experience
- Experience within mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
- A strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- The ability to work effectively within a production team
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Australian working rights
- The ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Experience with crushing, grinding, flotation, CIL, CIP, leaching, filtration or control room operations will be highly regarded.

Tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Testing, Forklift, EWP, Loader or Skid Steer may also be advantageous.
