Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. With a solid pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.
What will this position involve?
As part of the commissioning team, you'll be responsible for leading Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Your duties will include:
- Leading Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning teams across site
- Coordinating commissioning activities and schedules
- Reviewing and completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
- Conducting inspections and resolving technical issues
- Reviewing and approving JHAs
- Liaising with construction teams, vendors and client representatives
What do you need to be successful?
- Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
- Cert IV in Instrumentation
- Schedule 26
- Current LVR/CPR
- WA White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 3 years' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
