About the role

Circuit Electrical Services is looking for a capable fourth-year electrical apprentice or qualified A-Grade electrician to join our growing team.

We are open to qualified electricians at any experience level, from recently qualified through to experienced A-Grades looking for greater responsibility and career progression.

We need someone who can think for themselves, solve problems and take ownership of their work. This position would suit someone who enjoys commercial and industrial electrical work and has the ability to handle unexpected site issues, find practical solutions and keep projects moving.

You will work across a variety of commercial projects throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, including schools, warehouses, industrial facilities and major electrical upgrades.

Key responsibilities

- Commercial electrical installation, fit-off and maintenance
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and specifications
- Lighting, power, switchboards, submains and underground services
- Data, communications and security installations
- Fault-finding and resolving issues on site
- Coordinating with builders, other trades and project managers
- Supervising and supporting apprentices where required
- Taking responsibility for assigned work areas
- Identifying problems early and providing practical solutions

What we’re looking for





- Fourth-year electrical apprentice or qualified A-Grade electrician
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work without constant supervision
- Takes pride in producing neat, compliant work
- Able to read drawings and plan work ahead
- Confident communicating with supervisors, builders and other trades
- Willing to step up when unexpected problems arise
- Organised and able to manage materials and daily priorities
- Current Victorian driver’s licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Victorian electrical licence for qualified applicants

Experience in commercial construction, data, switchboards, underground services or supervising apprentices will be highly regarded.
