We’re seeking experienced Truck Operators to join a major open‑cut mining operation, working with a well‑established and safety‑driven mining contractor. Myndshift Group supports a number of industries including mining, civil construction and heavy engineering, delivering the highest quality project personnel to some of Australia’s largest companies. Our client partner is a national mining company with a solid presence across Australia’s major resource projects.
About the Role: Operating CAT 789 and above, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent production targets in a safety‑focused environment. This is a hands‑on,
production‑driven role suited to operators with a minimum of 18 months open‑cut mining experience who are ready for an immediate start with a reputable contractor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in open‑pit mining operations
- Proven experience operating CAT 789, 793, 794 and Hitachi 5000 or larger haul trucks
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Valid RII competencies for relevant machinery
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures
- Ability to work both independently and within a production team
- Current C‑Class Driver’s Licence
