Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services comprises three business units: Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together, we are a multi‑disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an ILS Manager in Adelaide to contribute to continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement, effective planning, and professional development.

What You’ll Do

- Support logistics governance, warehousing assurance, and infrastructure planning.
- Engage stakeholders to establish and deliver agreed supply and equipment processes.
- Assist with procurement planning and timely delivery of required materials.
- Manage supply chain accounts, inventory systems, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate delivery, tracking, and integration of equipment into shipyard operations.
- Support ship loading, commissioning activities, and operational readiness.
- Manage excess stock through return, disposal, or reintegration.

What You’ll Bring

- Strong background in major Defence project environments, including experience working within frameworks equivalent to CASG Acquisition Category.
- Deep understanding of ILS principles, deliverables, and Defence sustainment requirements, including assessments and configuration management.
- A cooperative mindset with the ability to mentor, guide, and uplift less experienced logistics personnel.
- Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients.
- Currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth; compliance with ITAR may also be an inherent requirement.
