My client, an independently operated mid sized firm, is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant (or experienced Intermediate) to their team. With 4 Directors and 25 staff across 2 offices, this is an exciting opportunity to work across an established client portfolio with a strong support team in place.

The firm operates under a pooled team structure, providing exposure to clients across multiple Directors and industries. They are experiencing strong organic growth driven primarily by referrals, creating genuine long-term career progression opportunities. The firm has a strong track record of promoting from within and is committed to supporting employees' career development. As such, they are looking to develop the successful candidate into a Supervisor-level role in the near future. They are a technology-focused firm and XPM Platinum Partner. They are also highly proactive in integrating AI solutions and continuously improving efficiencies through innovation.

The role involves working directly with clients to deliver both compliance and advisory services, with exposure to consultancy work such as sale-of-business engagements.



There is also the opportunity to work with SMSFs; prior experience is advantageous but not essential.

- 9.5-day fortnights (with Friday afternoons off)

You will have key responsibilities which will include:

- Preparing financial statements & reports for various entities
- Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, partnershipsand trusts
- Tax planning/advisory and projects for clients
- Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies
- Liaising with clients regarding compliance matters

The ideal candidate will posses:

- CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- 3 years + experience in a public practice environment
- Familiarity with Xero and other accounting platforms
- Genuine desire to be client facing and progress in your career
