Role Overview

You’ll be joining the world-class team at Domain, backed by the global strength and innovative technology of CoStar Group. In this role, you will produce high‑quality architectural photography and videos that help Australian renters, homebuyers, and commercial real‑estate professionals market their properties and spot opportunities.

What You’ll Do

- Produce interior and exterior media of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Create engaging videos that showcase standout features of properties.
- Capture Matterport 3D tours of properties to create interior and exterior walk‑throughs.
- Create Gaussian Splat views of properties using drones where possible.
- Develop compelling exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools.
- Use professional‑grade tools to create visually appealing media.
- Travel up to a week per month as required.
- Select optimal photography times based on lighting, season, and location.
- Edit all photography and video quickly to deliver completed projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout shoot scheduling and set‑up.
- Continuously improve skills through learning new techniques and technology.
- Participate in team meetings to address business challenges and promote collaboration.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience as a professional real‑estate photographer or similar role.
- Portfolio showcasing residential and lifestyle photography, including drone footage.




- School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of professional real‑estate photography/videography experience, or recent completion of a photography‑focused qualification.
- Strong understanding of manual camera settings, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), macOS and Microsoft Office.
- Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL), or willingness to obtain one within six weeks of joining.

Physical & Travel Requirements

- Lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg.
- Hold a current, valid Australian driver’s licence and be able to hire a car for work travel.
- Drive up to 2 hours at a time; work outdoors in all seasons.
- Occasional night and weekend work required.
- Must pass a satisfactory Driving Record Check before starting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Enjoys photographing buildings and suburbs; finds creative solutions.
- Robust relationship‑building skills with key contacts.
- Flexible, adaptable, and excellent multi‑tasking and time‑management skills.
- Experience with commercial drone photography.
- Ability to capture and edit high‑quality interior and exterior property video and photography.
- Deep understanding of best practices for architectural photography and artistic vision.
