The Chance
Sante Recruitment is partnering with one of the largest regional health services between Sydney and Melbourne to appoint a Consultant Paediatrician.
This is a full-time, substantive chance within a well-established and expanding paediatric service, delivering care across a large and diverse regional population.
You will work within a structured, consultant-led model, supported by a solid multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive paediatric care across inpatient, newborn, and outpatient settings.
This role is ideal for Paediatricians seeking clinical breadth, service stability, and meaningful impact within a major regional referral centre.
The Health Service
This organisation is the principal referral service for a cross-border population of approximately 250,000, delivering a broad range of secondary and tertiary-level services.
Paediatric Services Include:
General inpatient paediatrics Special Care Nursery support Integrated newborn care with maternity services Paediatric Emergency Department presentations Regional referral and outreach services Close collaboration with ICU, Anaesthetics, and Obstetrics
The service is undergoing significant redevelopment,



including expansion of Emergency and short-stay facilities—enhancing overall paediatric and acute care capability.

Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP – Paediatrics) Eligible for, or holding, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Specialist Registration International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
