About the role
DNC PROJECTS PTY LTD' is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson/ Kitchen Draftsperson to join our talented team in Wangara, WA.
This full time role will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting and design support across a range of Construction/Joinery projects, with a particular focus on mechanical and kitchen design.
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate and detailed2D and 3D CAD drawingsfor mechanical systems, kitchens, custom bars, and structural steel designs.
Prepareworking drawingsfor architects, builders, clients, and contractors.
Collaborate closely withproject managers, clients, and other stakeholdersto develop practical, high-quality design solutions.
Review designs to ensure compliance withindustry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Maintain and updatetechnical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation guides.
Produceshop drawingsbased on tender documentation and client-supplied plans for fabrication using CNC machinery or external suppliers.
Contribute to the development and refinement ofinternal drafting standards, templates, and processesfor improved efficiency and quality.
What we're looking forAbout You:




Proficiency inAutoCAD and 3D design software(e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Demonstrated experience inmechanical drafting and/or kitchen/joinery design.
Strong understanding offabrication methods, materials, and industry regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson or Kitchen Draftsperson, preferably within the engineering or construction industry
