Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again.
Our Agitator drivers and Batchers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business.
As a Driver/Batcher, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day, operating the batch plant, and interacting with lots of different people.
Every day will be different; there’s nothing routine about this role!
About the role:
Rates: $35.74ph plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).
You will be based at Busselton Concrete Plant.
Most days will start at 7am-3pm and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 – 55 hours per week.
As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels.
You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day,
so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven’t met before
We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you protected whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
All current starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself.
Occasional concrete batching when required.
About you:
Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you’re onsite
You prefer variety in your working life.
