Finance Manager | Mascot | 4 Days in Office | $135,000-$150,000 + Super

We are partnering with a highly successful ASX-listed organisation to recruit a Finance Manager into their high-performing finance team based in Mascot.

This newly created position offers an excellent prospect to join a growing business with exciting expansion plans over the coming years.

You'll take ownership of financial reporting, leading a small finance team, and providing commercial insights that influence business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end, half-year and year-end reporting processes,
Prepare technical accounting papers and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
Manage weekly financial reporting, reconciliations, margin analysis and cash flow forecasting
Manage banking reporting, insurance administration and support finance transformation and business improvement initiatives
Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team, including the Accounts Payable function
Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making
Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls and finance processes

About You:




CA or CPA qualified with Big 4 audit training and subsequent commercial experience
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Reporting or Senior Financial Accountant position within a large or ASX-listed business
Robust technical accounting knowledge with experience preparing statutory financial statements and external reporting
Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor finance professionals
Commercially minded with the confidence to partner directly with senior executives and challenge where appropriate
Hands-on approach with the ability to move between detailed financial reporting and team leadership
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large ERP and reporting systems
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
