Downer has an opportunity for a Float Operator to join our Asphalt division, based at our Somerton depot. Offering a competitive hourly rate plus night shift and weekend allowances, this full-time permanent role will see you play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of asphalt laying equipment to and from sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.

About You:
- Current MC (Multi Combination) Driver Licence
- Current General Construction Induction (White Card).
- Knowledge and understanding of Chain of Responsibiilty (CoR).
- Solid familiarity with the Melbourne metropolitan area.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift roster.
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A strong team player, capable of working efficiently with others.
- A committment to upholding Zero Harm culture at all times.
