Lead Structural Welding Works on a Major WA Resources Construction Project
An established contractor is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to join a major construction project on a Rio Tinto operation in the Pilbara.
Working on the construction of a large balance machine, you'll lead structural welding crews, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a long-term opportunity with the project scheduled to run through until February 2027.

- FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster
- 12.5-hour days
- $90-$100 per hour + Super paid on all hours, dependent on experience
- Flights provided (travel time not paid)
- Long-term project through to February 2027

The Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager,
you'll be responsible for supervising structural welding activities, coordinating trades, ensuring compliance with welding procedures and quality requirements, and driving a strong safety culture across site.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor qualification (essential)
- Proven experience supervising structural welding on heavy industrial or mining construction projects
- Strong understanding of welding procedures, quality assurance and inspection requirements
- Current Rio Tinto inductions highly regarded
- Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety and delivering quality outcomes
