Monash Caulfield Childcare Centre, in collaboration with SH Recruitment, is seeking an inspiring Centre Director to lead a high-quality, community-focused early learning service where children, families and educators genuinely thrive. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader who is passionate about shaping culture, driving quality, and creating an environment where learning, safety and relationships come first.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a well-established long day care and kindergarten service located within the vibrant Monash Caulfield community. You'll lead a dedicated team of educators, champion compliance and child safety, strengthen educational practice, and build meaningful partnerships with families, staff and the governing committee.

Your leadership will ensure the service continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for children while fostering a warm, inclusive and collaborative culture.

What You’ll Lead

Daily service operations, decision-making and governance reporting

A positive, collaborative team culture through coaching, mentoring and supervision

Compliance, NQF requirements, Child Safe Standards and continuous quality improvement

Curriculum support and pedagogical leadership alongside the Educational Leader

Rostering, recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning

Family engagement, enrolments, tours and community connections

Budgets,



funding streams, administration and general service management

Facilities, maintenance and essential services oversight

What You Bring

Strong leadership experience within early childhood education and care

Confidence managing compliance, QIP, staffing and operational priorities

Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

A commitment to child safety, inclusion and continuous improvement

A warm, professional leadership style that builds trust and inspires teams
