Senior Project Manager - HRIS Transformation | 6-Month Contract | Brisbane (Hybrid)

I'm partnering with a well-known enterprise organisation that is embarking on a significant People & Culture technology transformation and is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

This is an exciting chance to drive an enterprise-wide HR technology program that will modernise HR operations, improve employee experiences, and deliver long-term business value. The initial contract is 6 months, with a high likelihood of multiple extensions.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a major HRIS implementation, working closely with executive stakeholders, People & Culture leaders, technology teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery from planning through to business adoption.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives leading large-scale transformation programs and has a strong understanding of HR technology and business change.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of an enterprise HRIS implementation.
- Partner with People & Culture, Technology and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and success measures.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, governance, reporting, risks and dependencies.
- Build strong relationships with executives, vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into deliverable outcomes.
- Drive governance, quality assurance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.




- Work closely with Change Management teams to ensure successful organisational adoption.
- Manage implementation partners and vendors against agreed milestones.
- Provide executive reporting and updates to Steering Committees and senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven history of successfully delivering complex enterprise transformation programs.

You’ll bring:

- Extensive experience leading enterprise technology implementations.
- Demonstrated delivery of HRIS or large-scale HR technology programs.
- Strong understanding of HR and People & Culture processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence executive audiences.
- Strong project governance, financial management, planning and risk management experience.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills.

Highly Regarded Experience

Experience implementing platforms such as:

- Workday
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Oracle HCM

You’ll also stand out if you’ve delivered People & Culture transformation initiatives or have experience across recruitment, onboarding, workforce management and employee data.
