About The Role
Provide strategic procurement advice and lead sourcing and contract management activities to support effective, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes. You will:
- Deliver end-to-end low to medium-risk procurement activities, including sourcing, evaluations, supplier engagement, and contract establishment.
- Provide procurement advice and support to stakeholders on procurement planning, processes, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare procurement documentation including plans, RFQs, EOIs, RFTs, evaluation reports, recommendations, and approval papers.
- Maintain procurement and contract management systems, ensuring requests, contracts, variations, extensions, and records are accurately managed.
- Support procurement reporting, governance, and compliance, including dashboards, contract disclosures, GIPA requirements, and contract administration activities.
- Provide operational support to the Procurement team, coordinating meetings, supplier communications, evaluations, record keeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing reports, procurement documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, registers, and reporting data.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, analysis, and presentations.
- Experience using procurement, finance, or contract management systems and applying policies and procedures to support compliant procurement outcomes.
