St. Giles, a not-for-profit founded in 1937, is Tasmania’s oldest and largest Disability Provider. Our statewide, multidisciplinary allied health team, is highly regarded for their work with paediatric populations, supporting the goals of over 2600 Tasmanian families each year. St. Giles boasts a range of different programs and disciplines, partially NDIS and partially State-Government funded, offering no-direct-cost support to families and at all stages of their journey. The Role

St. Giles Allied Health has an upcoming opportunity for a fixed term Service Delivery Lead – Early Intervention, to join our multi-disciplinary NDIS team in Hobart. This is a unique opportunity to be a key driver in the delivery of NDIS, Early-Intervention services through the St. Giles Allied Health team. To support this, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced, NDIS Allied Health professional as we offer Whole of Life solutions to Tasmanians living with a disability.

What working with St. Giles involves

- Keyworker model of service delivery informed by the Professionals & Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention (PRECI) best-practice guidelines.




- Implement and review individual plans for clients, including regularly/proactively consult with families/advocates and Allied Health team members.
- Coordinate consults for team members working within the Early Intervention team to assist with accessibility of information
- Provide individualised support and guidance to team members around specific client cases, assisting them to delivery appropriate interventions for their families.
- Deliver all services with a capacity building mind-set.
- Engage appropriately in supervision and other training/development opportunities both individually and in collaboration with our team, to help promote the outcomes for our families.
- Engage appropriately in both Launceston leadership meetings, as well as statewide forums.
- Be an advocate for St. Giles and the families we support.

What we need to be able to get you on board

- Current registration with appropriate Governance Body (e.g. AHPRA), allowing work under the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice standards for a range of presenting issues, particularly with paediatric populations, in a capacity-building framework.
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Significant experience and skills in collaboration with community and family stakeholders.
- Experience in providing clinical support to other allied health professionals
- Experience working within a Keyworker framework (highly desirable).
- A genuine passion for wanting to help Tasmanian’s living with a disability and their families.
- Proven capacity and ability to work with professional integrity and support vulnerable people.
- An understanding of policies, procedures and regulations including mandatory reporting obligations.
- Current driver’s licence.
- National Police Check (no older than 3 months).
- Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
