Public Sector People are working with a QLD State Government Organisation in Brisbane CBD, who are seeking an experienced A06 Human Resources Advisor – ER/IR Advisor on a 12-month contract with the chance to extend.

The primary focus of this role will be to lead HR projects on attendance and performance management delivery for its workers.

- Initial contract until 06/08/2027 + extension
- Brisbane CBD, QLD, 4000
- Attractive pay rates from $78 p/h + 12% Super (PAYG)

What You Will Be Doing

- To lead HR projects with a key focus initially on attendance and performance management delivery
- Assist roll out psychosocial risk assessment recommendations stemming from Gold Coast Electrical investigation.
- Assist Manager (Workforce & Capability) establish performance management training/coaching program in line with SPM survey




- Trail leader drop-in sessions – opportunity for leads to chat to a HR team member to discuss current issues
- Working with Capability to tie in performance modules with broader PM development to align with departments Action Plan

What We Are Looking For

- Significant Senior (5+years) experience in Local Council or State government
- Qualifications and/or Experience in ER/IR, case management, business partnering or projects.
- CHANGE qualification or experience in relevant People Strategy projects
- Proactive mindset and approach, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- This role is moving fast the client is keen to conduct interviews early next week***
