This role will be working on a critical CPS 230 compliance uplift as part of an organisation-wide risk management initiative. Working across operational, risk, and business functions, the role will drive improvements in three key areas: Critical Operations, Material Service Provider (MSP) oversight, and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
The successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strengthen operational resilience, enhance vendor governance, and support the organisation's compliance with CPS 230 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality standards and business objectives.
- Apply strong project governance and controls across scope, change, risk, issues, resources, financials, dependencies and stakeholder management.
- Drive project planning, reporting, benefits realisation and successful business handover, while ensuring adherence to the Project Management Framework and documentation standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Executive and Board-level leaders, to support effective decision-making and delivery outcomes.
- Partner across business, risk, technology and external vendors to optimise change readiness, stakeholder engagement and successful implementation.
- Lead, mentor and inspire project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the Enterprise Delivery function.
- Contribute to the growth of project management capability through coaching,
knowledge sharing and supporting the onboarding and development of project delivery professionals.
About you
- Extensive experience delivering complex projects and change initiatives within financial services or superannuation environments.
- Experience delivering large-scale compliance, risk or operational resilience programs, including CPS 230 uplift initiatives, highly regarded.
- Experience working with external vendors, material service providers and outsourced administrators to deliver business change is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of risk, controls and obligations management, with experience in CPS 230 compliance, operational resilience and RCSA frameworks.
- Demonstrated success managing large project budgets, multiple workstreams and complex stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to lead high-profile, business-critical programs involving regulatory scrutiny, third-party vendors and significant organisational change.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
