We pride ourselves on delivering premium products backed by exceptional customer service and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our dealership into its next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys coaching and developing people, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
About the Role
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day sales operations of the dealership, ensuring the sales team performs at a high level while maintaining exceptional presentation standards, customer service and operational excellence.
You will lead from the front, assist in closing deals, manage stock presentation, oversee used vehicle acquisitions and create a high-performance culture throughout the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and motivate the dealership sales team.
Assist sales consultants in closing deals and maximise every sales opportunity.
Conduct daily sales meetings and coach staff to continually improve performance.
Monitor individual and team sales performance against agreed KPIs.
Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
Maintain a solid sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up of every lead.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry through to handover.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure every caravan is cleaned, detailed and presented to premium showroom standards.
Coordinate photography and ensure all stock is advertised online promptly.
Maintain accurate pricing,
descriptions and online listings across all advertising platforms.
Appraise customer trade-in caravans and negotiate fair market values.
Source and purchase quality used caravans for resale.
Monitor used caravan market trends and competitor pricing.
Work closely with finance, administration and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with dealership procedures.
Maintain accurate customer records within the dealership management system.
Experience using Eclipse Dealer Management System is preferred but not essential.
Assist with dealership events, caravan shows and promotional activities.
Monitor stock ageing and assist management with inventory planning.
Recruit, train and develop sales staff as required.
Maintain a clean, professional and welcoming dealership environment.
Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
About You
The successful applicant will possess:
Previous experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Sales position.
Solid leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional negotiation and closing ability.
A proven ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
Experience in the caravan,
RV or automotive industry will be highly regarded.
Experience with Eclipse Dealer Management System is advantageous.
Current Driver's Licence.
