About the Role

As Manager - Contracts, you will lead WentWest's contract management function, overseeing the monitoring, evaluation and performance of a diverse portfolio of commissioned health and community services. You'll work across the full contract lifecycle, partnering with providers, program teams, finance, governance and executive stakeholders to ensure services deliver value for money, achieve contract outcomes and meet compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

- Lead the monitoring, evaluation and management of a portfolio of complex and high-value service contracts.
- Oversee provider performance, compliance, risk management and contract outcomes.
- Provide expert contract management advice across WentWest and support best-practice contract processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across commissioning, finance, governance, data and program teams.
- Lead contract negotiations, variations and performance improvement activities where required.
- Drive reporting, analysis and insights to support informed decision-making and funding requirements.
- Develop and maintain contract management systems, tools and processes that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Lead,



coach and support a high-performing contracts team while building capability and accountability.

About You

You will bring:

- Significant experience managing the full contract management lifecycle, including performance monitoring, compliance and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing professional teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, law, commerce OR other relevant area
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, financial management and contract law principles.
- Experience negotiating service contracts and working within complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a strategic and outcomes-focused approach.
- Experience in health, government, not-for-profit, community services or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
