At Evoenergy, we're looking for a Senior Business Technology Advisor to play a key role in shaping technology and digital investments that support our network, customers, and long-term business objectives.
About the role
As the Senior Business Technology Advisor, you will work across the business to identify technology and digital opportunities, develop investment proposals, and ensure solutions deliver measurable value. You'll partner with operational, engineering, project delivery, and corporate teams to understand business challenges and translate them into clear business requirements, use cases, and business cases.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence decision-making, support investment governance processes, and provide trusted advice on technology initiatives that align with Evoenergy's strategic priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Identify and develop technology and digital investment opportunities.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
- Develop business requirements, use cases, investment objectives, and success measures.
- Lead the preparation of business cases, option assessments, and investment proposals.
- Support technology investment governance, prioritisation, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology delivery partners.
- Monitor benefits realisation and help measure investment outcomes.
- Champion Evoenergy's core values and contribute to a positive team culture.

What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing business cases, investment proposals, and options assessments.
- Solid stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of business case development, investment evaluation, and benefits realisation.
- Ability to translate business challenges into practical technology-enabled solutions.
- Understanding of governance, risk management, and decision-making processes.
- Broad understanding of information technology, operational technology, and digital systems.
- Experience in electricity, utilities, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Experience supporting technology, digital transformation, or enterprise systems initiatives.
- Knowledge of asset management principles and utility sector investment governance.
