About the role

Join the friendly team at Gidgegannup Pharmacy, a locally owned community pharmacy located alongside Gidgegannup Medical Centre.

Despite its peaceful Hills setting, the pharmacy is only around 15 minutes from Midland, making it far more accessible than many people realise.

This is a varied and rewarding pharmacist role where you will build genuine relationships with patients and work closely with local healthcare professionals to deliver personalised, high-quality care.

As a smaller community pharmacy, Gidgegannup offers the chance to practise pharmacy beyond the dispensary. You will get to know your patients, manage a broad range of clinical presentations and play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the surrounding Hills communities.

The role will also include regular shifts at our sister store, Priceline Pharmacy Mundaring, located approximately 10 minutes away. This provides additional variety and the opportunity to work within a larger pharmacy featuring a dispensing robot, compounding laboratory and dedicated consultation rooms.

With no late nights and only very occasional weekend work, this position offers genuine work-life balance while still providing plenty of clinical variety and professional development.

What you’ll be doing

- Accurately dispensing and checking medications to ensure patient safety
- Providing comprehensive patient counselling and medication management advice
- Building strong, ongoing relationships with patients and their families
- Collaborating with the GPs and other healthcare professionals located within the adjoining medical centre
- Delivering vaccinations and other professional pharmacy services
- Supporting patients with medication management,



dose administration aids, diabetes, asthma, wound care and general health concerns
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting clinical interventions
- Adhering to all relevant pharmacy legislation, professional standards and guidelines
- Assisting with inventory management, ordering and the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy
- Contributing ideas to help expand the pharmacy’s clinical services and community offering
- Working across both Gidgegannup Pharmacy and Priceline Pharmacy Mundaring as required

What we’re looking for

- A registered pharmacist with current AHPRA registration
- Current vaccination qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, approachable manner and a genuine interest in community pharmacy
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based pharmaceutical care
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to safe medication practices
- Confidence working independently while remaining part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Flexibility and willingness to work across both pharmacy locations
- Initiative and a willingness to assist across all areas of the pharmacy
- A commitment to providing an exceptional level of service to every patient

Compounding experience is desirable but not essential.



Training can be provided for a pharmacist interested in developing their compounding skills.
