The Team

NESM Hospital Scottsdale provides a range of primary health and community care services. The hospital provides 18 sub-acute beds, an Outpatient and Emergency Service, palliative care, low risk midwifery run antenatal and extended midwifery services, physiotherapy, radiology, social worker and visiting services. Other services provided include Community Nursing and Home Help. NESM Hospital Scottsdale is also a University Department of Rural Health teaching site providing facilities for students to stay and undertake clinical placements in Scottsdale.

The Role

The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.

- Deliver evidenced based care in accordance with the nursing care plan under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse/midwife.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to learn new skills, take on challenges and help foster a positive work culture.

Details of appointment

Permanent, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other perks if eligible.

Regional Allowances

- Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%
