Executive Level 1 - Assistant Director - Northern Territory Sector Support
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is looking for a person with solid leadership skills and a desire to achieve outcomes for the Northern Territory (NT) to lead our Sector Support team. As an Assistant Director in the Northern Territory Local Network Office, you will lead a team to perform a range of functions contributing to program assurance and stewardship of the health and aged care systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a high performing team to support the aged care sector in the NT.
- Work in partnership with local stakeholders to support solution brokerage and delivery of program outcomes.
- Identify and report on emerging issues and risks, develop and deliver risk management and mitigation activities.
- Support aged care providers to provide service continuity though emergency events.
- Identify and develop opportunities for market growth in the NT aged care sector.
- Represent the department at engagements including with service providers, consumers, NT government and other commonwealth agencies.
- Gather intelligence and report on departmental programs outcomes and the local conditions which impact service delivery.
