To succeed, we need bright minds and team players. As the Operations Controller you will be accountable for the day to day planning and running of key warehouse operational activities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitor and oversee daily check list for all duties and tasks to be carried out by warehouse staff to ensure activity is going to plan. Escalating any issues to Warehouse Manager for resolution.

- Coordinates daily despatch, including forklift loading and load planning, working with drivers and internal teams to ensure safe, accurate deliveries.

- Build trip schedules on a daily basis and prioritise releasing and picking of orders ready for dispatch same day, monitoring replenishment and allocation of orders to ensure activity is completed accurately and to plan

- Book freight in line with business requirements, choosing appropriate delivery method for the circumstance (e.g. Scheduled delivery versus courier). Monitoring of truck turn around and ensure non-conformance is rectified





- Actively using a forklift to load/unload vehicles as required

- Ensuring WHS (Work Health and Safety) compliance standards at met

Have You Got What We’re Looking For?

- 2+ years experience in operations or logistics, ideally within the wholesale or retail or manufacturing sectors.

- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures (receiving, issuing, cycle counts, stock adjustments)

- Experience with inventory management systems / WMS / ERP (e.g. SAP) and Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)

- Proven experience with operational aspects of distribution such as delivery lead time, OH&S;, Inventory Control and RF

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

- Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a busy workplace.

- Forklift License ideal or willingness to get License.
