Senior Cost Manager | Major Projects | Sydney

We're partnering with several leading global project and cost consultancies across Sydney who are looking to hire experienced Senior Cost Managers.

These opportunities span a diverse range of major projects, including data centres, commercial, healthcare, life sciences, education, government, infrastructure and large-scale developments.

The Role

Working closely with clients, project teams and key stakeholders, you'll be responsible for providing cost management and quantity surveying services throughout the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and cost planning through to procurement, construction and final account.

Responsibilities include:

Managing project costs from feasibility through to final account
Preparing cost plans, estimates and project budgets
Conducting cost analysis, benchmarking and value engineering
Managing procurement, tendering and contractor selection processes
Preparing cost reports, forecasts and financial updates
Assessing variations, progress claims and contractor payments
Providing commercial advice and cost management support to clients
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants,



contractors and other stakeholders

About You

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
Previous experience as a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Consultancy experience is highly regarded
Experience working across major construction, infrastructure or complex project environments
Strong cost planning, estimating and commercial management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
