We’re expanding our Operations team and looking for a proactive and detail-driven Supply Chain Lead to join us in managing end-to-end execution of customer projects. This is a senior coordinator role with cross-functional influence, responsible for translating customer and product development plans into transparent, executable supply chain actions.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Timeline Management
Step into projects once customer interest is confirmed (post-sampling stage)
Act as the project manager for assigned customers, owning the full supply chain execution timeline
Coordinate with internal teams (NPD, Sales, Finance, QC) to track progress and close gaps
Conduct project kickoff and timeline alignment meetings
Provide customers with realistic lead time updates based on BOM complexity and global movement of goods
Procurement & Order Execution
Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely purchase of bulk, primary, and secondary packaging
Raise and approve purchase orders based on NPD and customer specs
Validate supplier timelines and plan procurement around critical path items
Ensure packaging and raw materials are produced and delivered in sync for on-time production
Liaise with suppliers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders to resolve delays or specification issues
Systems & Data Oversight
Oversee SKU creation process (via New Line Forms) and ensure accurate entry into NetSuite
Work with Finance to issue proformas, allocate deposits, and track project profitability
Approve all procurement and shipping data entries from offshore team for accuracy
Lead a team of offshore Operations Assistants responsible for:
Data input in NetSuite (sales orders, POs, GRNs, assembly builds)
MRP reporting and open PO tracking
Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange shipments based on Incoterms
Provide training, clear SOPs, and ongoing task prioritization for the offshore team
Ensure support team outputs are aligned with timelines and meet data accuracy standards
Coordinate inbound freight and outbound shipping with freight partners
Communicate with customers and internal teams on Incoterms (FOB, DDP, EXW)
Prepare final shipping documents, invoices, and product specs for handover to customer
Lead project closure with Finance, reconciling leftover stock and wastage
Evaluate margin vs. forecast, with learnings applied to future builds
Validate reorders against original specs in collaboration with NPD; flag and elevate any changes
What You'll Bring
3-5 years experience in Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain in:
Beauty / Personal Care / Contract Manufacturing / FMCG industries (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of BOMs, supplier lead times, and critical path planning
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; confident dealing with multiple stakeholders
Comfortable managing remote teams and coordinating cross-border supply chains
Organized, deadline-focused, and solutions-oriented
